Join guitarists Alvaro Henrique and Sara D’Ippolito-Reichert for an afternoon of evocative music on Sunday, November 9, at 4:00 p.m., at Zion Community Church, 1697 Lafond Avenue, St. Paul, MN.
This concert features mostly works for solo guitar alongside select duos, presenting a wide-ranging repertoire that bridges continents and centuries. The program includes Brazilian forgotten masterpieces by César Guerra-Peixe, Dilermando Reis, Joel Hobbs, and Cairo Victor, as well as works by female composers such as Ida Presti, Teresa de Rogatis, and Lilith Guegamian. The performance concludes with the energy and passion of Astor Piazzolla’s iconic duos.
