Hi, I’d like to invite you to a concert I’m very excited about.
It’s called Brazilian Treasures, and it’s a program dedicated to expanding what we understand as Brazilian music for the classical guitar. Instead of focusing only on the most well-known traditions, I’ll be sharing music from different regions, voices, and cultural backgrounds — including works inspired by the sertão and even music by Indigenous composers.
This is a project that comes directly from my research and from my commitment to bringing new repertoire to the stage.
The concert will be on Sunday, April 5, at 4pm,
at Arts on Lafond, Zion Community Commons,
in St. Paul.
