What happens when Brazilian rhythms, cinematic nostalgia, and classical guitar meet on the same stage?

On Wednesday, May 20, I’ll be presenting a special concert in Minneapolis that brings together music from very different worlds — from the energy of Brazilian music and bossa nova to arrangements inspired by Star Wars and rock classics, all reimagined for solo classical guitar.

A night where galaxies meet Brazil 🇧🇷✨

This program reflects many sides of my musical journey. Brazilian music has always been at the center of my artistic identity, especially the rich diversity of styles and traditions that exist beyond the mainstream narratives often associated with Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. At the same time, film music and rock arrangements have played an important role in connecting new audiences to the classical guitar.

The result is a concert that moves freely between styles, atmospheres, and memories — from the intimacy of bossa nova to the epic sound world of Star Wars, all through the expressive possibilities of the classical guitar.

Whether you are a longtime classical music listener, a fan of Brazilian music, a Star Wars enthusiast, or simply curious to hear something different, this concert was designed to be welcoming, engaging, and full of contrasts.

I hope to see you there for a night of music that crosses borders, genres, and galaxies. 👊
